May pasture in Geifertshofen

The beginning of May is traditionally the time when our dairy farmers' cows are allowed to go out onto the pasture again for the first time. After the winter stable period, they can enjoy the particularly juicy first grass and tasty herbs outside on the pasture to their heart's content in May! The "Maymilch" that the cows give in the first few weeks of the grazing season is rich in valuable ingredients such as high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and beta-carotene. We use this valuable May milk to make our Maiweide, finely creamy with a mild, buttery character.
As a harmonious supplement, we recommend a Silvaner.
