County AOP Tradition Emotion

Hard cheese from the Jura.

The Comté AOP Tradition-Emotion belongs to the fruity-mild Comtés. These can be eaten without fuss around the clock as a snack or nibble, as an ingredient in sandwiches or salads. The dough is smooth and juicy, the taste is fruity and ripe: the same pleasure as biting into a ripe pear or peach. The aroma ranges from fruity (with summer comté) to nutty (with winter comté).

Available in sizes:
loaf - about 36 kg,
1/4 loaf - about 10 kg,
1/8 loaf - about 5 kg,
1/16 loaf - about 2.50 kg,
1/32 loaf - about 1.25 kg

For 5 generations now, the Marcel Petite company has been dedicated to aging Comté in the heart of the Jura mountains. This is how the company became one of the most famous ripening companies in France. Maison Petite's 35 partner dairies produce loaves of raw milk from Montbéliard cows fed with grass and hay from natural pastures. The aim of Maison Petite is to highlight the rich and varied character of these dairies, located mainly in the mountainous area, with different suitable aging processes (cellars of the Granges Narboz and Fort Saint-Antoine).
