Cheese of Annen Refining of Excellence
This aromatic hard cheese made from silo-free cow's milk is made in the canton of Schwyz. The excellent mountain milk comes from local farms and is processed by the cheese dairy in such a way that the cheese achieves a high quality and storability. The bodies mature in 15°C cool, damp cellars and are cared for with salt water. The taste of Fromage d'Annen is characterized by a spicy, nutty and milky aroma. It belongs on every cheese board and is also suitable for cooking. At the age of 14 months, the cheese develops an even more intense aroma without being bitingly sharp.
