    In the Rems Valley, between grapevines and orchards, lies the village of Bittenfeld - today part of the district town of Waiblingen. Here, where Friedrich Schiller's father once helped bake rolls and where the Bittenfeld apple has given the cider a spicy note for generations, you will find our small Demeter cheese dairy.
    When we, the Vosselers, took over our parents' business in 1990, the milk prices were once again in the cellar. So why not process the badly paid milk yourself?
    The idea took shape after Heinz Vosseler had spent a summer at a Swiss dairy school and on an alp. When they returned, the laundry room became the cheese kitchen and the potato cellar became the first cheese cellar. In 1997 the construction of our small cheese dairy began on the beautiful outskirts of Bittenfeld. In 2007 the cheese kitchen and cheese cellar were expanded. We have been processing Demeter milk from Matthias Gnamm from Waiblingen-Hohenacker since 2002. Today, the hardworking hands of Hanna König and Anja Bock help us to turn the fresh milk into wonderfully fine cheeses.
