Sometimes sudden events throwing life to a quite different path- maybe a much better one. There was a day, Haj-Akbar Kebritchi‘s profession was far away from what nowadays he is well known for. His paternal job was sewing Bags and Suitcases starting from a single Hojreh1 in Tehran’s Bazar ending up in building a factory with so much difficulties and efforts which after some years of ongoing presence in domestic markets, suddenly caught fire within the hardship of early days of Iran’s revolution.

Not so easy to start again, such accident could knock down any hardworking man. Actually it took a while for Haj-Akbar to stand up on his feet aided by his patience, determination, and intelligence finding a way out of trouble. Initially with his admirable taste, first he established Hani restaurant in Tehran, Ghiam Square drawing people’s attention by its high quality and different menu. He named the restaurant after his child showing everyone he loves his new profession just as his son. New homely taste and inventing new fools such as Boneless Chicken-Kebab, Zereshk-polo (Rice with Barberries), and Baghla-polo (Rice with Haricot) with meat –not being included in those days’ restaurants- leaded Hani to quickly become a Hangout for Tehran’s gastronomes and day by day, much more popular.
